How do I find a book in the catalog?

Answer

You can search the HLLC catalog here. On the main catalog page, use the top box to search the library catalog. You can search by title, author, keyword and more. You can also search the databases for articles and eBooks using the second box towards the middle of the page (please see screenshot below). 

See the screenshot below for some additional searching options. 

1. Use the box to the left to refine your search. You can limit by authors, item type, location and more. 

2. You can choose a result from the list in the middle of the page by clicking on the title. You can also see the item's call number and availability here. 

3. You can use the Suggest a Purchase link at the top to recommend a title you don't see in our catalog. 

 

Once you've clicked on the item you want, you'll be taken to the item page. From here, view the item's call number and availability. You can use the box to the right of the page to place a hold, save an item to your lists, and more.
